Join us for a relaxed afternoon of wine, food and beautiful countryside at Whinyard Rocks.
On selected Saturdays throughout the summer, we open the vineyard gates and invite you to spend a few leisurely hours amongst the vines at our open days. Wander at your own pace, discover how we grow our grapes and make our wines, enjoy a guided tasting or glass of your favourite wine and settle in with delicious local food while taking in sweeping views across the Radnor Valley.
Whether you're planning a day out with friends, celebrating a special occasion or simply looking for somewhere a little different to spend a summer afternoon, we'd love to welcome you.

Your visit is designed to be relaxed and informal. Arrive anytime from midday and enjoy:

- Our cellar door shop, featuring our full range of wines
- Delicious artisan stuffed pittas by The Street Food Collective on Saturday 4th July
- Authentic Greek food by Greek Mr. Gryo on Saturday 1st August
- Fresh Japanese food by Miniyaki’s Japanese Soul Food on Saturday 5th September
- Our bar stocked with local beer, cider and soft drinks
- Plenty of seating amongst the vines to relax and enjoy the views

A vineyard shaped by the landscape
Whinyard Rocks is a family-run vineyard in New Radnor in the heart of the Welsh borders, where we grow grapes using regenerative farming principles and produce expressive, natural wines that reflect our remarkable landscape.
Our open weekends are a chance to experience the vineyard in its most beautiful season, ask questions, meet the people behind the wines and discover what makes this corner of Wales such a special place to grow grapes.
Make a day of it
Our vineyard in is perfectly placed for exploring the Welsh borders. We're within easy reach of Hay-on-Wye, Kington, Presteigne, Ludlow, Hereford and Malvern, making us an ideal stop during a day exploring the area. Bring friends, bring family, bring your dog (on a lead) and enjoy a relaxed afternoon with good wine, delicious food and spectacular scenery.

Is the vineyard wheelchair accessible?
Please be aware that the ground is uneven in and around the vineyard. This may be unsuitable for wheelchairs.
Can I bring children?
Yes, children and families are most welcome. Alcohol will of course only be served to over 18s, however there will be soft drinks available.
Are dogs permitted?
Yes, dogs must be kept on a lead at all times and not left unattended at any time. As a working vineyard, all fouling must be cleared up immediately by owners.
